Keeping It Hot

A roast will stay for an hour or longer if you double wrap it in foil or ten or more thicknesses of newspaper.

Maintaining Heat

By putting hot foods in insulated cooler, they'll stay hot if they are covered or wrapped.

Ice Bucket Trick

Soup or stew will stay hot by putting it in an ice bucket that has been rinsed out in hot water.

Chilled Food

Give an extra chill to milk and cut fruit on warm days by putting them in the freezer for 15 minutes before serving.

Cool Idea

Put your serving bowl (weighed down) inside a larger bowl filled with water and freeze. Serve dips or salad in the empty center bowl.

Pack food tightly into an ice chest and they'll stay frozen for 2 or three days,, and very cold for a day after that.
